Kellogg's Star Wars C-3P0's Cereal Promotions

In 1984 fans of all ages were introduced to Star Wars C-3PO's cereal! These little figure-eight shaped delights were produced by Kellogg's and included a handful of memorable cereal toy promotions.

This is possibly the most famous of the Star Wars cereal promotions, the cut-out masks These came in designs featuring Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Storm Trooper or C-3PO himself.

This one is my personal favorite, the Star Wars sticker cards. I really enjoyed collecting these as a kid. You would get two stickers per box, there was a total of 10 in that promotion.

This final promotion offered a pack-in Star Wars Rebel Rocket and a mail-away for Kenner figures with 3 UPCs.

Star Wars Cereal Toys Are Back!

Star Wars and cereal fans alike can collect all six classic posters in each participating brand of General Mills cereals, including Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix, Cookie Crisp and Reese’s Puffs. The specially marked boxes of Big G cereals hit store shelves this month, for a limited time only. Not only are there the six posters, one for each episode of the saga to date, but Target stores also sport an exclusive combination poster! The era of cereal toys is coming back with a bang! Not to mention, this is some of the first product to feature the logo for the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, which adorns the back of the cereal boxes involved in this promotion. The posters all feature gorgeous Drew Struzan artwork. They make a great addition to any wall, child and adult alike, and to your collection of Star Wars, Cereal premiums or both!
