Ralston cereal followed-up their very popular 1989 Batman cereal bank promotion by packing bowls on boxes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal. There were four bowls in all and the best part was you could see what you were getting on the outside of the box, so there was no guesswork. These can be rather difficult to find and fetch a decent price, typically $40 to $60 loose and up to that for each box sealed.

Cap'n Crunch Dick Tracy Door Hangers & Watch Mail-Away
Kellogg's Star Wars C-3P0's Cereal Promotions
In 1984 fans of all ages were introduced to Star Wars C-3PO's cereal! These little figure-eight shaped delights were produced by Kellogg's and included a handful of memorable cereal toy promotions.
This is possibly the most famous of the Star Wars cereal promotions, the cut-out masks These came in designs featuring Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Yoda, Storm Trooper or C-3PO himself.
This one is my personal favorite, the Star Wars sticker cards. I really enjoyed collecting these as a kid. You would get two stickers per box, there was a total of 10 in that promotion.
This final promotion offered a pack-in Star Wars Rebel Rocket and a mail-away for Kenner figures with 3 UPCs.
Here are a few other cool promotion items from the Kellogg's C-3PO's run, a hat, store display and some coupons.
The 1987 Kellogg's Captain Power Cereal Promotion
The year was 1987 and the Captain Power toys were the latest innovation in interactive technology. The toys came with a VHS tape that would interact with the lasers on the toys. Kellogg's ran a cereal toy promotion and one with cut-out masks on the backs of boxes. Here are some examples.
The Real Ghostbusters Cereal Box w/ GITD Slimer Door Hanger
Here we have The Real Ghostbusters cereal box that featured the badge on the side of the box and the glow in the dark Slimer door hanger on the back. This was a cut-out toy, as opposed to the usual pack-in.
